Lights On may be growing quickly, but its founder Dr. Joshua Sooter travelled many roads to make it possible. Growing up on a farm in rural Missouri, he spent over 10 years living abroad in Taipei, Shanghai, Paris, Abu Dhabi, and Tblissi (Georgia) and seven years in New York City before settling in California. Utilizing his background in higher education (history of philosophy and cultural anthropology), years of experience in marketing and strategic research, and fluency in Mandarin, Joshua began Lights On to leverage his global connections on behalf clients in the art-design, business marketing, and cultural industries.
